These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the website www.campervanrent.ee operated by Campervan Rent OÜ (reg. 16031089) and our motorhome rental service. By making a booking and/or signing the rental agreement, the renter confirms that they have read and agree to these terms.
Rental Terms
1. VEHICLE & RENTAL PERIOD
The vehicle provided is a VW Grand California 600 (reg. no. 094RBB, VIN WV1ZZZSY4P9067765, gross weight 3,880 kg, height 3.1 m). The rental period and all other conditions are fixed at the time of booking. The condition of the vehicle is documented at handover, including photos and video where necessary.
2. PAYMENTS & SECURITY DEPOSIT
A booking deposit of 30% of the total rental fee is required to confirm the reservation. The deposit is non-refundable if the renter cancels the booking. The remaining balance must be paid before vehicle handover. All payments are made by bank transfer to: Campervan Rent OÜ, IBAN EE091010220287315223 (SEB). A security deposit of €1,000 is required and will be returned within 2 working days after the rental period, provided the vehicle is returned undamaged and in the agreed condition.
3. MILEAGE LIMIT & EXTRA CHARGES
The rental fee includes up to 500 km per day. Additional kilometres are charged at €0.30/km. Late return is subject to a surcharge of €50 per hour.
Additional charges:
- Dirty vehicle returned: €100
- WC/waste tanks not emptied: €50
- Fuel shortage: market price + €30 service fee
- Smoking in the vehicle: €300
The vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level as at handover, and in a clean condition.
4. INSURANCE & LIABILITY
The vehicle is covered by IF Superkasko insurance with a €300 excess. No excess applies for glass damage. Insurance covers Europe (excluding Ukraine, Belarus, and Russia). The renter is personally liable for any damage that falls within the excess amount, as well as for any damage caused by misuse or breach of these terms.
5. DRIVER REQUIREMENTS
The vehicle may only be driven by persons who: are at least 25 years of age, hold a valid driving licence with category C1 authorisation, and are named in the rental agreement.
6. PROHIBITED USE
The vehicle may not be used: off-road or on unpaved surfaces, for subletting to third parties, for commercial or business purposes, by persons not named in the rental agreement.
7. PETS
Pets are permitted only with prior written agreement and subject to an additional fee agreed at the time of booking.
8. IN CASE OF DAMAGE
In the event of any accident or damage, the renter must immediately notify Campervan Rent OÜ and the relevant authorities where required. The renter is responsible for ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
9. FINES & VIOLATIONS
The renter is personally responsible for any traffic fines, parking violations, or other penalties incurred during the rental period.
10. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
These terms are governed by Estonian law. Any disputes shall be resolved in the court of jurisdiction at the lessor's registered address.
